The Trust is established to further the charitable aims of the Welsh Livery Guild, by the advancement of education, the relief of poverty and such other charitable purposes as the Trustees shall from time to time think fit. And in particular, but not exclusively, these objects will be achieved by

Individual Adult Further Education Awards,
for those over 18 years of age, in need of assistance, in order to pursue courses or apprenticed training, in attending places of learning to increase their knowledge, expertise and experience in arts, science and technology, or in any interdisciplinary combination of these subjects, to obtain a high standard of excellence in their chosen vocation.


Talented Child Award,
to provide or contribute to the cost of education of a necessitous exceptionally talented child, who is a citizen of Wales, in need of special tuition due to his/her exceptional ability, or whose ability is seriously restricted through suffering some disability or disadvantage which requires additional financial support to that given by national or local government.


To Organise Seminars or Conferences,
concerned with the advancement of arts, science and technology in Wales, particularly those concerned with co-ordinating the evaluation, development and application of vocational skills, for the benefit of the people of Wales.


Annual Achievement Awards,
for outstanding innovation or vocational excellence in arts, science and technology, achieved by individuals. These awards consist of a citation certificate and/or a medal when appropriate to the award.


Co-operation with Industry and Commerce,
to provide encouragement, courses or other means of developing skills in arts, science and technology, to the citizens of Wales.
